Our name is Knowledge boosting diamonds and our goal is to boost learning and knowledge sharing under pressure and make your software a diamond! This blog is for the purpose of documenting the journey of our team assignment for University of Tampere course Human Centered Product Development. 📚

Sonja Ahola

Hi!

I'm Sonja and I'm master degree Information and Knowledge Management student at Tampere university. I'm passioned about working together with clients and helping them to find the best solutions in their everyday business. Also I am eager to learn new things and develop my skills in information and knowledge management field! In my freetime I enjoy outdoor activities and spending time in the forest with my three poodles. 🐩




Eerika Kauppinen

I'm Eerika Kauppinen, fourth year Information and Knowledge Management student and research assistant in IEM research group - I'm interested in sustainability and circular economy through my current studies and work projects and in future I would like to support CE by developing IT related things. I have been working my whole childhood in customer service and I've used to seek and try to find best solutions for customers. I think that these experiences have benefited my customer-oriented personality and that I like to be surrounded by people and work with them. Otherwise I love outdoor stuff, cabbage food and farm animals 🐑



Asta Sallinen

Hi!

My name is Asta and I’m a third-year Information and Knowledge Management student at Tampere university. I’m interested in user experience and human-centered management. I hope to work in a leadership position where I can use my professional skills to improve other employees’ efficiency by sharing my knowledge. Currently I work as a customer servant and I like the close-to-people kind of job description. I enjoy learning new things and I have a tendency to seek for new adventures in work life as well as in my free time. In my free time I’m also a food and music enthusiast. 🍴🎶


Eveliina Sihvonen

Hello! I’m Eveliina Sihvonen, a fourth-year Information and Knowledge Management student. In addition to my studies, I work part time within an IT and technology consulting company. I am particularly interested in how technology is changing the way the world does business and how people are able to support and participate in this change. The complexity of digital transformation and how technology continuously creates new business processes, culture and customer opportunities and how these changes affect the daily lives of individuals is a passion of mine and I hope to combine these aspects in the future work life. With my free time I stay active performing all kinds of sports and activities, especially tennis. I get my energy for daily tasks from my sport activities. 🎾🏃



Hopefully you got to know us a little better. In the next post we'll dig deep into the Human Centered Product Development -course's team assignment and what we'll try to solve during this course.

Hello and welcome to yet another KBD blog post! In the workshop last Wednesday, we went through stakeholders and made some maps to visualize the importance of different stakeholders in our assignment. This week we have already had another meeting with our contact from Solita. In our meeting we talked about the upcoming interviews and we got some clarification on our assignment. We are no longer focusing only on software development projects and our new topic is “ How to boost learning and knowledge sharing in between projects?”. Hello and welcome to KBD’s 12 th   blogpost! If we have calculated correctly, this will be our third to last blogpost. This means that course Human-Centered Product Development is soon coming to an end. We have worked very hard with this course and we have to say that it is quite a relief to know that summer is just around the corner and we maybe have a bit time to relax after a tough schoolyear. 🌞🌈   In the workshop of this course and on the third blogpost, we were talking about the top software trends in 2021 which were for example mixed reality (MR), blockchain, low-code development and outsourcing (DevTeam.Space 2021).
